Kalkfontein Cottage

Farmstead
We have two guest rooms in the fully serviced stately guesthouse.
All meals are fully catered and the cuisine is typical Karoo country style.
We assure you of a warm welcome in our home.
Brave the heat of summer and relax in the cool, swimming pool in our beautiful green garden.

Ribbok Cottage
Sleeps 1-5 people
This cozy cottage consists of an open plan fully equipped kitchen which also has an old but working wood stove. There's a small living room with a sleeper couch for the fifth guest. There are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with single beds, each with an en-suite shower.
On the stoep you have braai facilities and huge old acacia trees give you shade from the summer heat.
If you are looking for a swim, relax in the cool swimming pool in our beautiful green garden, a short walk away.

Gemsbok Cottage

The homely cottage has two bedrooms (one double and two single beds) each with en-suite shower, a pull out sofa in the living room can accommodate two additional guests. There is a fully equipped, open plan kitchen.
The generous covered stoep with the outside braai overlooks a small succulent garden.

Grootwaterval Lodge
Sleeps 8-12 people
If you are an outdoor enthusiast and love nature and solitude we would recommend you stay at our Lodge – the perfect place for a group of friends or a family. The spacious house (7km from the farmhouse) has no electricity but a lot of oil lamps.
In the main building, there is an open kitchen with everything you need, solar fridge/freezer, gas burner and an Aga stove. On cold winter nights, you can enjoy the cozy inside fireplace in the living room.
In summer you can cool off in the 'plaasdam'.
