Self-catering Cottages

Our two rustic cottages are renovated labourers' houses with an old fashioned warm atmosphere of oil lamps and candles. We do have a solar system but most of our guests prefer the oil lamps.

The kitchens are fully equipped with  gas-fridges, gas-burner, crockery, pots and pans. Beddings and towels are also provided – just bring your own food.

The houses are well apart to give you privacy.

Ribbok Cottage               (sleeps 4-5persons)

This cozy cottage consists of an open plan kitchen with an old but working wood stove, a small living room with a sleeper couch, two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with single beds, each with en-suite shower.

On the stoop you have braai facilities and huge old acacia trees give you shade from the summer heat.

If you are looking for a swim, the natural spring water dam is there to cool you off.

Gemsbok Cottage           (sleeps 4-6persons)

The homely cottage has two bedrooms (one double and two single beds) each with en-suite shower, a pull out sofa in the living room and a fully equipped open plan kitchen.

The generous covered stoop with the outside braai overlooks our succulent garden.

On a hot Karoo summer day you will enjoy a swim in the cool natural dam – in cold winter nights you may relax in the wood heated hot tub (on request and extra cost).
