Grootwaterval Lodge         (sleeps 8persons)

If you are an outdoor enthusiast and love nature and solitude we would recommend you the lodge – the perfect place for a group of friends or a family. The spacious house (7km from the farm house) has no electricity but a lot of oil lamps.

ZAR 200.- per person/night

In the main building is an open kitchen with everything you need, gas-fridge / freezer, gas-burner and an Aga stove. On cold winter nights you can enjoy the cozy inside fireplace in the living room.

The four bedrooms (two with double beds, two with single beds) are all en-suite. You enter from the generous laid out stoop with an outside fireplace. To enjoy a sundowner on the stoop is a special experience.

Quite often one can see Gemsbok, Kudus and Springboks passing by or at night you may be lucky to see the shy cape genet or an aardvark.
